Nimbus Baby Mattress Monitor

Design based on helping support professional parents in establishing a sleep schedule. With a baby mattress pad developed with sensors to help record temperature, movement, and heart rate. This data can support parents in tracking their babies sleep cycle so they know what sleeping methods work best for their children.

Sketches and prototypes were created by focusing on flexibility and

breath-ability. We found tessellations to be the safest for the cohesive form.

With sketches we discovered tessellations of padding allowed for the best integration of technology and safe to sleep guidelines.
